A little bit of laundry (as evidenced by the baskets all over the house that needed to be put away).
Not a lot of tidying up (as evidenced by a full dishwasher needing to be run, and lots of dishes on the counter/in the sink).
Big kids went to the Gig Harbor parade with Nanny (as evidenced by BAGS full of candy caught by the parade goers).
Little kid ate mac and cheese and took a nap (as evidenced by the vat of leftover mac and cheese in the fridge).
Not a lot of cooking going on (as evidenced by the leftover pizza in the fridge).
Excited big boys (Chris) went to Costco three times to buy a new coffee maker.
Excited little boys (Camden) spent seven dollars - SEVEN DOLLARS !! on a 99 cent cap gun. at a garage sale.
Did I mention that this SEVEN DOLLAR piece of candy machine crap doesn't work?
...regardless of the mess when I got home, I appreciate Chris holding down the fort while I got to have a (much needed!) fun day off. Now I just have to figure out a way to get to BlogHer. : )
Maybe you can sell the gun on ebay with a little creative description?
