and then she snapped: show {off} your shot

We just wrapped up the 26th week of show {off} your shot. That's six months, people! Thanks for making it fun every week by linking up, I love seeing all of your amazing photos, and being insprired by your tips!

This week my favorite shot is from Emily at Wife Check, Mom Check, Now What?

My tip this week is pretty lame (it's late, I'm tired, and I'm headed to San Francisco tomorrow (today when you're reading this!) so I have to pack!!). Anyway, my tip is just this: don't wait for an occassion to get out the camera. This one was taken during lunch (obviously). I was just noticing how Charlie is growing so fast, and that I don't have to break his sandwich (or his banana!) into bite sized pieces anymore! The light wasn't perfect (the side of his face is overexposed), but who cares? I still love the picture, it's nothing special, it reminds me of a moment...and isn't that what photography is all about?
