how cute are these two little dudes? if you'd like to see more of them check out my friend
Mandey's blog, they are ALL over the place over there.
help yourself to my winner winner button, Mandey!
let's talk about noise, shall we? not the kind that runs rampant at my house with three kids and a husband...but the kind that makes my pictures look all grainy when I inadvertantly set the ISO way too high. remember this picture of Camden's birthday cupcake? the one on the left is soooo "noisy". but the one on the right I simpy ran through
noiseware community edition, a FREE download from imagenomic. (and I used their auto settings, you could get all snazzy if you want, but I have no idea how to do such a thing). they also have a paid, pro-edition, but I just used the free one and was quite pleased with the results, I mean, it's not perfect, but I can definitely see the difference, can you?
Now it's your turn! What tip can you share this week?
Rules Guidelines:
~One photo per person, and the photo must be taken by you.
~Blog about your photo and share something about how you took the photo, or how you edited it. (Please don't skip this part, because it is so fun to be able to learn from one another).
~Add my button (below) to your blog post...(text links are ok too, but please do link back to me or I might cry)
~Link up to your blog or Flickr page, (but please link up to your specific post and not just your blog homepage...if I can't tell what post you are linking up I will have to delete the entry).
If you have ANY questions, feel free to
email me.
I can't wait to see what you come up with this week!
The noise reduction is amazing. Does the download with with elements?
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos! I found you on a blog hop. for a great picture of the sea turtle I minimized the amount of background. I was hoping you could follow me and join my hop. Thank you!

I have the free edition of noiseware too, but opted to stop using it. I noticed it was shrinking my image size! Have you noticed this?
ReplyDeleteExcellent portraits, there is nothing as difficult as discovering the soul and feelings
ReplyDeletePrecious! They are cute little dudes. :)
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see a difference in the noise level! Such a cute photo of him!!
ReplyDeleteThat community edition works pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that it erased my exif data, but if you use the improved version as a layer on top of your original, you can still hold onto the data. Okay, enough of me - great shot!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
