I kind of love this shot SOOC (that's fancy talk for Straight Out Of Camera or not edited at all):
...but in order to link up with pixel perfect or shoot and edit you kind of have to edit your photo. so I did.
I added a few of kim klassen's layers, played with the blending modes of those layers (I think I had 3 or maybe 4 layers total), then I flattened, created a black and white gradient map layer and reduced the opacity of that so that some color still peeked through. I do like how it turned out, but I think I still like the SOOC best.
Also, I have decided that I love tulips so much that I am going to keep them in my house on a regular basis, even if I have to buy them for myself!
Beautiful! I do love the texture!
ReplyDeleteI love the SOOC best too! Great job at editing!=)

ReplyDeleteI'm just starting to play with texture.....I haven't quite found my texture niche yet, ya know? I love it on other people's shots, I just haven't done anything with it on my own shots that I love yet! hehe

ReplyDeleteI think your SOOC was really beautiful to start, and your edit is a really cool, artistic way to change it up a bit! Your edit makes me want to play with textures a little more...
