So today I decided to use a texture in my edit, for my very first time. (Thanks, Ashley, for encouraging me to try!) So, I'm not really sure what to DO with textures, so I copied it and pasted it as a new layer (in PSE 8), then basically messed around with the texture layer until I liked what I saw. I ended up using the "linear light" blending mode with opacity at 72%. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteI like it! The more you play around with blending modes, and opacity, and you see what different textures do, it will become much more instinctual, and easier. Great job!
