and then she snapped: touch up tuesday

touch up tuesday

SOOC
AFTER

So today I decided to use a texture in my edit, for my very first time.  (Thanks, Ashley, for encouraging me to try!)  So, I'm not really sure what to DO with textures, so I copied it and pasted it as a new layer (in PSE 8), then basically messed around with the texture layer until I liked what I saw.  I ended up using the "linear light" blending mode with opacity at 72%.  What do you think?

  7. I like it! The more you play around with blending modes, and opacity, and you see what different textures do, it will become much more instinctual, and easier. Great job!
