and then she snapped: show {off} your shot - photo share

show {off} your shot - photo share

I can't believe it's Friday again!
Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and are out enjoying the bargains out there on black friday.  Or not (if that's not your thing).

Here's my favorite shot from last week's share.
I love the texture in it, especially since I experimented with texture this week for my first time!

Now on to week 4!  Are you guys enjoying this link up?  Would you prefer there were themes?  Or do you like being able to choose your own theme?

I know you've seen this before but I wanted to share a little secret about it.  SOOC it was really blurry.  I loved the composition of the shot, and it made me laugh, but honestly?, I almost deleted it.  Instead, I decided to experiment with some layer adjustments that I'd never used before, like...POSTERIZE.  And...I kind of LOVE this!  What do you think?  Did I save the shot?  Or should I have just gone with my first instinct and deleted it?

Now it's your turn...post one of your favorite shots from this week.  Please remember to share something about how you took the photo, or how you edited it...so that we can all learn from each other.  Also, add my button to your post, so others can play along.

and then, she {snapped}

  1. I think your save of the photo is great, it makes it interesting. We all know how it is to have a photo not be sharp or something that's just off, and we do often throw them out I know I've done that many times.

    Thanks for enjoying my photo last week :)

  4. I have always admired photographs that have lovely texture in them and I just experimented with texture for the first time this week and I had so much fun with it!
    I don't think I have ever really played around with posterizing either..your image turned out fun and playful, I like it!
