We put our (new, fake) tree up today! Charlie was all over it. It was so fun to watch him watching us decorate it. He was totally into it, which was adorable. I have a feeling that meeting Santa is going to be a whole different story though, so stay tuned for that.
I did a little bit of black friday shopping this morning, I even braved Walmart (but not until 8am) and was actually quite surprised that I was able to get Grace the laptop that she wanted. (She is currently looking for babysitting gigs since she still owes another hundred bucks on it). After I came home my girl cousins came over for lunch. It was so fun, we were celebrating my cousin Aylie's return home from 6 months travelling the world. She is an amazing woman, and I wish you all could meet her. Finally when the cousins left my sister and her boyfriend hung around and helped us decorate the tree as we listened to Christmas music and drank Christmas beer. Then we ate frozen pizza while Clare and Sean went to my mom's for dinner. (We weren't invited). Isn't that crass? (JUST KIDDING, MOM!, the frozen pizza wasn't THAT bad).

We bought a gorgeous pre lit fake tree about 5 years ago and LOVE it!!!! Enjoy yours!!!
