We went to my Auntie Margaret's again this year, for her annual pumpkin carving/chili feed. The kids (of all ages) love it at her house, because she has her entire house decorated, and she doesn't have nearly the number of rules that we have at our house. Plus she makes cookies and always has candy!
Grace likes to oversee the yearly judging of the jack-o-lantern contest, and spends hours ahead of time creating the perfect award certificates. This year, Camden carved his own pumpkin all by himself, which consisted of cutting out various shapes from his pumpkin, and then stabbing an assortment of carvers into it and squirting it with fake blood.
Halloween itself was as usual, except minus the rain and freezing wind. YAY! The kids dressed up and went around the neighborhood only to come home and count and trade. As they should!
