Last week's show off had FIFTY of you linking up and therefore I will be donating FIFTY dollars to Shot@Life! So THANK YOU!
This past week was so busy. Chris was gone all week to Washington, DC for work, and Grace left Wednesday to fly all by herself to meet up with him and they stayed until Saturday night. They had fun visiting some of Chris' family, and seeing the sights, and going to Starbucks twice a day. Check Grace's blog, I'm sure she'll have pictures (of DC, although maybe some of Starbucks too).
I had two boys to take care of. And back to school shopping to do. (We SCORED, by the way...and whoever said moms don't need back to school shoes, or lamps doesn't know what they are talking about). I've picked up another accounting client and have been working hard on getting up to speed on that. And I bought a new laptop to replace our ancient family desktop. We went to our friend Seth's 3rd birthday. There were cake pops and the most delicious scones ever. We toured Camden's new school, and met his teacher (both are going to be fabulous), and I may or may not have drank an entire six pack of Mike's (come ON, people, it was six days, so it's really not that bad).
Ok I realize it doesn't sound like I was super busy, maybe it just felt like it, since I was a single parent all week. Last night we got home from dinner at friends', just Charlie and I, and we ate drumsticks in the front yard and this happened:
Won't you join me and show off your shot...it's easy!
