How are you doing, friends? We had summer this weekend, and it was awesome! If you follow me on instagram (@andthenshesnapped) you'd know that my boys even busted out the sprinkler! We had a double bbq weekend (oh, heck yeah!) where Saturday night we went to some friends for surf and turf on the grill (as in steak AND shrimp AND chicken), and then Sunday night we had the Monners over to our house for burgers and potato salad. Nothing says summer like a bunch of kids with magic hair running around like banshees in the backyard. It was awesome.
Anyway, here's a shot from last week when Charlie and I went to the new and improved Tacoma Children's Museum with Heidi, AJ, and Annabelle. If you're local, I highly recommend it. The kids had a blast, although Heidi was a different story.
I edited this photo TWO ways because I couldn't choose a favorite...kinda like my kids...do you have a favorite? (I mean favorite edit, although you can also let me know if you have a favorite kid)...
Won't you join me and show off your shot...it's easy!
1) Pick your favorite shot of the week, or one that you otherwise feel like "showing off".
2) Show it off!
That's it!

I loved all the instagram pics - we were cold and rainy here, so seeing the outdoor fun was great. I think I like the color edit, mostly because I can tell spring is showing up - the other one looks wintery. Charlie looks cute in both, so that's really all that matters!
ReplyDeleteLovely images. I hope to see you at My Dream Canvas :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh such a hard choice on such a great photo!! I LOVE black and white!!! But I love the colors you can see in the other. So this time, I'd say I love the color more!

p.s. we'll have to check out that museum sometime!!! Always looking for new fun things to do!!! It'd be a fun day trip down there. It'd be fun to meet up too ;-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fantastic weekend! I love it when we can grill all weekend long & keep most of the cooking out of the kitchen :)
ReplyDeleteHe is cute in any shade of color!
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute... and looking to big in that jacket by the way!
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with edits... and deleting just so-so photos of Eva. I feel bad sometimes trashing any photo of her.
Sounds like an awesome weekend. I joined your link up!
ReplyDeleteHe's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your photo, and I can't pick between the B&W and the color version either. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a link up! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI really like the colored edit.
ReplyDeleteedit colored is classic! captured moment is always a keeper!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great weekend, huh? And I think that I am partial to the black and white, but you probably could have guessed that, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable shot~either way! I certainly have a favorite kid, but since I only have one, it's okay. :-)
