and then she snapped: wordless wednesday but with words

wordless wednesday but with words

Today's wordless wednesday but with words is extra special because I want to make sure you all know about a super easy opportunity to win a new big girl camera! I'm joining the SITS girls and the Clorox Bleach It Away campaign to be entered for a chance to win a Canon Rebel camera, among other prizes. Want details on how you can enter as well? Click here.

I've got a seven year old boy. So I know messy.

Seven year old boys think that if you're not getting dirty you're not doing it right.
Obviously.
Therefore falling down at soccer is imperative. Even if there is no soccer ball or even other players around.
Preferably after a rain, so the ground is extra muddy. And the grass is SURE to get good and ground into that white jersey.
It helps too if you make dramatic grunting noises when you fall. The louder the better. You want to make sure everybody hears you.
Otherwise it doesn't count.

My seven year old boy is REALLY good at soccer. Obviously.

Here's my confession:
I don't really "get" wordless wednesday. So let's call it what it is. Around here words are totally ok, and actually encouraged! So if you like words too and want to link up your wordless wednesday, but with words, please do. And if it's Thursday by the time you get around to it, well heck, that's ok too.
and then, she {snapped}

I am working on behalf of The SITS Girls and sharing my messy moment in order to promote the Canon Rebel Camera Giveaway for the Clorox Bleach It Away campaign.  To learn more about the messy moment program, check out www.BleachItAway.com.  Sharing your story on the Clorox fan page gets you entered for the chance to win $25,000 and daily prizes, and you can grab a coupon for Clorox® Regular Bleach.

  8. There is another link up out there called wordful Wednesday for days like this when we just can't shut up. LOL
The idea behind Wordless I think is for those days when a picture says a thousand words? or you just don't have anything to post or write, and then just blah your way through. LOL

  10. Based on the number of grass stains - he looks like a rock star! I tried once to play soccer, but I kept getting pounded in the chest. Clearly, I got some of the rules mixed up.

  12. Really glad I found your blog! As a mom of two boys and girl I can testify that boys have a special love for mud and anything related to mud! Loved the line about how he has to make noise that everyone can hear...or else it doesn't count! haha
I also so agree with your philosophy of a wordless Wed. with words! I write a blog for god's sake....I can't NOT write words.
Following you now...hope you can stop by and say hi!

  13. When I saw the first picture I cracked up! My dog, Sydney (or Princess Pretty Paws) rolls on the soccer fields all the time. She hasn't interrupted a game yet, but she has interrupted practice.

She likes the white lines. So when I saw your handsome player, I thought - oh yeah, the white lines.

    hee hee

  14. OH my gosh I so giggled because this is so my 8 yr. old son but he manages to get dirty EVERY game. He's a pitcher but the boy somehow ends up the dirtiest one on the time. Oh for the love of the dirt I mean Game :)
