Target dream come true?

It's no secret around here that I love me some Target. And as of this week I'm a Target affiliate!

What this means is that if you click on a link to Target on my blog and then you end up buying something I might get paid. (Which most likely I'll end up giving back to Target, because duh).

Generally I'll earn a small percentage based on what you buy, but if you decide to get yourself a Target RedCard using one of my links, it's actually real dollars. Please know I wouldn't suggest you do anything I wouldn't actually do myself. I seriously recommend the RedCard. Like for real. About a month ago I broke down (after the millionth time the checkout lady asked me to) and got a Target Debit card. I was hesitant because I didn't really want another card in my wallet, but...after weighing the options I decided to go for it. Because:

You get 5% off of everything. 5% isn't much, I know, but it's half our tax rate, so that's something.
You get an extra 30 days to return stuff (120 days instead of 90), but the number one reason I did it?

I absolutely HATE paying for shipping. I'm too cheap. Target often runs free shipping on certain items, but if I'm browsing the clearance section online (which I have been known to do), those items aren't usually going to be free shipping. UNTIL NOW.

So if you've been on the fence about getting a Target card (credit OR debit, whatever works for you), I'm here to tell you that it's cool. Like for real.

Oh I should point out the downside to FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING ON TARGET.COM... I've got packages arriving like every other day. Oh wait, that's not a downside. Unless you're my husband. : )
