This shot was taken at my Grandma's 92nd birthday party on Sunday. Don't these two look like they are having a blast? ; ) I edited in Lightroom with a preset called "whoiswolf BW deluxe lighter 2". If you don't have the whoiswolf set, run to presets heaven and download it now (it's FREE!) and has a ton of fabulous presets that I just love.
I don't really "get" wordless wednesday. So around here words are totally ok, and actually encouraged! So if you like words too and want to link up your wordless wednesday, but with words, please do. And if it's Thursday by the time you get around to it, well heck, that's ok too.
Grab my button and link up below and with some of my favorite wordless wednesday hostesses: project alicia, live and love outloud, the paper mama, the daily wyatt and naptime momtog.
I'm also linking up with my friend Heidi for black and white wednesday.

Oh! I almost forgot to say that my weekly photo link-up, "show off your shot", has moved to Mondays! So if you haven't linked up yet this week there is still time to head over there and do that too!
ick, I had mine out when I was 17 it was yucky. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI pray that you feel better real soon.

ReplyDeleteI glad it did happen so I could link up and share Miss Sharon's story. Thanks for hosting! Get well soon!

My mother was also an adult when she had her tonsils out...rough! I still have mine and I'm 42! Our grandmothers are nearly the same age...mine turned 91 in October! Longevity can be incredibly beautiful!

Good to hear you are on the mend. Headache could be from too much painkillers? Anyhow, love that shot.
ReplyDeleteluv your processing!
ReplyDeleteAwesome processing of your capture. I love it. Can really relate to feeling badly. I had to leave school early my rotten back was in such bad spasms. After waiting for 4 months I go tomorrow to UVA to the scholiosis/neurologist to see what has gone south.Thank goodness we have our computers and our photo blogging. It really does brighten up yucky days. Take care and feel better. genie
ReplyDeleteYikes about the surgery! I hope you are feeling much better soon!
ReplyDelete92 is awesome, how exciting!
I'm so with you on the "word"less Wednesday thing. I link up to ones that say that, but I always have words and feel guilty. LOL!
Oh I remember this pain well. I had mine taken out when I was 21 years old, and OUCH! I'd rather go through childbirth again quite frankly than have my tonsils removed again. So I feel for you. Hope you're well on the road to recovery now - eating pizza sounds as though you are. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous capture. I hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI still have my tonsils, but I did lose all four of my wisdom teeth when I was a teen. I wonder if that's why I'm so smart (or is it dumb?).
Have a fab week!!!
I hope everything's fine, that type of painkiller is really strong.
