I know, I know, I'm totally not going to win any mother of the year awards, but this had me laughing for a good ten minutes while it happened, and even now whenever I look at the pictures. We also gave Seth a lime but he didn't have nearly the hysterical reaction that Charlie did. I think it must be because HIS mom gives HIM limes all the time. (Obviously she's not up for mother of the year either).
Here's my confession:
I don't really "get" wordless wednesday. So let's call it what it is. Around here words are totally ok, and actually encouraged! So if you like words too and want to link up your wordless wednesday, but with words, please do. And if it's Thursday by the time you get around to it, well heck, that's ok too.

bahaha! love it!
ReplyDeleteoh man! awesome! we gave wyatt a bunch of chips and salsa this weekend. he was doing so good and then i think it just sorta hit him all at once and he seriously screamed with his face in the air. we laughed so hard. like, belly aching kinda laughing.
ReplyDeleteyou're broadening your kid's palette! whatever!
I have so many of these pictures!! They are so funny and always make me smile :)
ReplyDeleteHysterical! Great sequence captured!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Will was eating orange slices from our drinks and then decided he wanted the lemon. Of course we gave it to him (parents of the year award went out the window a long time ago.) His face was very similar and we had a great laugh.
ReplyDeleteWe did the same thing with my son and he loved it! Even now he loves tart things. Go figure!
ReplyDeleteLol! This is so stinkin cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best face ever!
ReplyDeleteHow about mother of the year for giving your son a Rapunzel cup?
that second picture is priceless. his eyes couldn't be anymore clenched!
ReplyDeleteand i don't really get wordless wednesdays either. i just figure it's more about the picture than the words on that day? meh.
i linked up though! yay!
You little guy is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI am with you girl. I have never been able to be wordless ever! :)
LOL! aWESOME! and so Cute! :)

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures
A good laugh this morning! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me laugh too!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures made my day! Wonderful linky party you have going on here. I just think I might join in all the fun.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS!
Very Cute...no words needed!
ReplyDeleteHis face is perfect! Eva hates when things stick to her fingers - so when I give her honey on her plate it is seriously the best thing ever. Doubt I would be getting that blue ribbon for mommy of the year either!
ReplyDeleteThose just make me smile. We used to take photos of my kids when they were mad- would make them even madder that we were not giving them the reaction they wanted. :)
ReplyDeleteBahahahaA! Priceless.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to let your kids learn by doing. You are being a great mother by letting her experience this. And then of course laughing hysterically and taking pictures.
ReplyDeleteIf you're not winning the mother of the year award, then neither am I. If you ask me, I'm in good company. lol Hilarious pic!
ReplyDeleteI love that face! :D
ReplyDeleteIf giving babies lemons and limes disqualifies me from winning mother of the year...then I never want to win. ;) I'd rather make my babies make faces like that!!
Such funny faces - love it!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Adorable. My husband used to eat lemons whole as a kid... seriously. Rind and all... I think his mom gave him lemons when he was teething or something. Either that or he's lacking the sour taste buds. lol
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud. So did Sam.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love seth's rapunzel sippy cup cozy.
Kthanksbye

Oh Lord - that is hi-larious! There's a tiny hint of a smile as he's "experiencing" the lime, right?
ReplyDeleteAt least you didn't give your kid a Warhead and photograph it.
I mean, not like *I* would or anything... ahem.
