In the evening we dropped the kids off at mimi and papa’s and went to Jillian’s for Chris’ 20 year reunion. Only we didn’t go to the official reunion, which was a formal (rather expensive) event the night before. Instead we sent out a facebook event for a no-host casual evening and got a ton of response. We estimated there were probably about 75 people there! (Although you wouldn’t know it by the number of photos I took). We met up with our good friends Mike and Shannon for dinner beforehand at Racha (mmmm). Mike was in Chris’ high school class and you already know Shannon is one of my good friends so that was fun.
Sunday morning we picked the kids UP from mimi and papa’s and headed over to Chris’ sister’s house to celebrate some birthdays with cousins. You know it’s going to be a good day when you eat two cakes before noon. Coffee cake and the Drechsel family traditional ice cream birthday cake!
That’s about it. We came home to a clean house and a bunch of laundry. Looking forward to the week ahead with not a lot on the agenda!
Looks like you had a fun weekend! Love the pictures! Yay for a relaxing week! :D

Ugh, don't say laundry. I am staring at 5 suitcases full.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Charlie look like a real kid and not a baby? When did that happen?
ReplyDeleteAnd are you sure other people came to the reunion event? Cuz it looks like just the four of you...;)
Great photos. Looks like sooo much fun. I love them all especially that first one of Charlie.
