and then she snapped: sunday

sunday

I was feeling super productive and "projecty" this weekend and we got a TON of stuff done.

It started off Friday at lunch when my mom and sister came over for lunch, only my sister was running late, so I asked my mom if she wanted to prime my adirondack chairs and she said YES. Sweet! So she and I did that before my sister even arrived!

The rest of the weekend I was able to bribe convince the rest of the people in my house to join in my crazy project weekend. We cleaned out the garage which resulted in two car fulls of junk...one to goodwill, and one to the dump. Planted some new plants (5 heathers and 6 small ground cover filler plants). Finished painting the outdoor chairs (a lovely blue) and of course the usual buttload of laundry. Throw in a BBQ with friends, a trip to Costco, Trader Joe's, AND Target and we had a FULL weekend!

Since you stuck around for that whole summary I feel I should reward you with a photo:

What, you don't do your chores naked?

  7. OMG we did like 20 hours of yard work this weekend. We are either productive or slackers, depending on how you look at it.

  8. Okay send that baby straight to my house will ya? I have a kitchen floor that needs some serious sweepin'. Too cute! Great shot! They should make sweeping a legit milestone ;o)

  10. Haha, he's adorable! My little guy likes to sweep too, I got him his own hand-held mini sweeper and dustpant. It's awesome b/c he goes around the house sweeping ... if only this love of chores would last :)
