and then she snapped: wordless wednesday, but with words

wordless wednesday, but with words

We had a great time with friends on the Fourth of July again this year. It was a beautiful day, no complaints about the weather (or anything else for that matter)! We had yummy food and festive drinks, check out these red white and blue treats that my friend Stephanie made!

Samantha and Grace sitting on the sofa. And why, yes, that IS a BBQ behind the sofa, and no, the BBQ isn't in the house, the sofa is ON THE DECK specifically for watching the fireworks! It's pretty rad. (Yes, I totally just said rad, whataboutit?)

Charlie with some sweet hair and a marshmallow on a stick, which he promptly pulled OFF the stick and shoved in his mouth.

Charlie and the Hula Hoop, because, DUH! And shirts are for sissies.

Medium and Medium.

Getting ready for the show!

Ohhhh, Ahhhhh!

Blow, America, Blow!

Here's my confession:
I don't really "get" wordless wednesday. So let's call it what it is. Around here words are totally ok, and actually encouraged! So if you like words too and want to link up your wordless wednesday, but with words, please do. And if it's Thursday by the time you get around to it, well heck, that's ok too.

and then, she {snapped}

  8. The light in medium and medium is so gorgeous. What a lovely portrait of M & M. How smart to move the couch outside-hope it doesn't now smell smokey. Charlie's hair...it will look that wild again when he's a teen.
