the matriarch

This is my Grandma (my Dad's mom). She's 91 1/2. She's a New Years baby. New Years, 1920! She's amazing. She's been a widow since the early 70s, when my Grandpa (who I never met) died suddenly. She raised SEVEN children, (most of which turned out normal), 16 grandchildren (I think? I'm sure my cousins will correct me if I'm wrong), and currently has 7 great grandchildren, with at least one on the way. She was a pioneer in assisting home births, and had most of her own children at home. She's a pretty smart cookie. And beautiful too, don'tcha think?
