The following is a post sponsored by Yahoo! Every time someone clicks here to make Yahoo! their homepage, they're showing their support for Girls For A Change.
I was selected for this opportunity by Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
I am excited about this opportunity because it is such an easy way for us as bloggers (or blog readers), and as women (and the occassional man) to make a difference! From now until July 1st, Yahoo! will donate $10 to Girls For A Change for each person who changes their homepage to Yahoo! using this link. Up to $10,000!!
Easy peasy, right? Click, and you're done.
Why, though? You ask? What is this Girls For A Change thing? I knew you were going to ask, and so, here's how the folks at Girls For A Change describe who they are and what they do:
“Girls For A Change (GFC) is a national organization that empowers girls to create social change. We invite young women to design, lead, fund and implement social change projects that tackle issues girls face in their own neighborhoods. GFC empowers girls for personal and social transformation. The program inspires girls to have the voice, ability and problem solving capacity to speak up, be decision makers, create visionary change and realize their full potential."
I know, I know, you don't want to change your homepage! You're very comfortable with google/facebook/ebay/blogger/(insert something really smart sounding here) greeting you each time you log on to the interwebs. Well, I am quite comfortable too (change is scary!), but it can't hurt to give Yahoo! a try, right? I've clicked the link myself (honest, I did!), so try it out with me! And help make a change with just a click.

yay! i did it! (hopefully it worked)
