and then she snapped: random

Have you guys seen these bikes without pedals? They are supposed to be a perfect first bike because kids learn to balance rather than worrying about pedaling. I think we are going to try and find one on craigslist for Charlie. He was still a little small for our friend's, but he seemed to love it anyway.

Also. Guess what I bought?? THIS! I am sooooo excited. Once I get it I will be selling my well loved (and in excellent condition D60 body with a brand spanking new 18-55mm lens, so let me know if that's something you MIGHT be interested in).

And finally, if you feel like helping me PAY for the aforementioned purchase AND you want to look super cool, purchase one of my super turbo awesome camera strap covers.

Oh, and ONE MORE THING. I am going to Bloggy Boot Camp this coming Saturday (ack! what should I wear?) and I am really really excited! If you'll be there too leave me a comment so I can make a point to meet you!

  1. Huge congrats on the new camera... it is a beaut! We borrowed a neighbor's bike (they took the pedals off to teach the kids) and I am not kidding-it took one afternoon of Julia taking that thing down the driveway to get the hang of it. Of course she was not one year old...it really helped with the balance!

  3. I may want your camera :-) But only if you teach me how to use it! Also, what about Blogher in August? You, me and Grace? It will be my birthday.
