and then she snapped: photography class

photography class

Today I got to spend all day with same amazing women (and two guys) learning the ins and outs of our cameras a little bit better. We spent the morning in two groups; those of us who knew about ISO, aperture and shutter speed, and those who didn't, and after lunch we went on a field trip to practice our new skills. These are some of the "beginners", and YES! that totally IS Grace second from the right! One of our friends couldn't make it today so Grace took her spot!

I love how smart, beautiful, photogenic, creative my daughter Grace is. And I'm totally NOT biased. (If you like MY pictures, you should check HERS out, she is amazing! and not even 12 years old)!

 Here's some moss on a tree.

linking up with pastor's girl's ponderings {green}

 And here's a bridge.

And something from the olden days.

And Grace again.

And some kind of plant.

Something else olden. (what? that's not a word? whatevs)

And this collage may very well get me killed, or even worse, cost me a fabulous friend, but we were having such fun goofing around taking picture after picture, that I threatened to make a collage of all these silly pictures of my friend SuLee. Only one if these is actually silly (can you guess which one?), in the rest of them SuLee just looks like the fabulous, beautiful, smart, funny friend that she is. (Think I buttered her up enough so she'll forgive me?)
