So...you may have noticed the big ol' flashing AD over there on the right. After much consideration, I have decided to join an ad network (Federated Media, specifically), through my relationship with the Clever Girls Collective. I figured since I spend so much dang time on this little ol' blog, I might as well TRY and earn some spending money out of the deal. Right? I knew you'd be supportive! So anyway, I'm going to give it a month or two, and see how it goes. If I make $6 in two months, well, then I'd say that's probably not worth, but if I make enough for a pair of shoes...well, I'd have to consider that! I would truly appreciate hearing your feedback as well...does it drive you NUTS? Or could you care less? Just so you know, another option I considered was selling sponsored spots on my blog, for a small fee, in monthly increments. The problems I considered with that was would I have anybody interested in advertising on and then, she {snapped}? And how much time would I spend trying to sell and getting those spots posted. The benefit of having the smaller blog sponsors is that I would have more of a say in what I'm advertising, and also how it looks.
So there you have it.
I don't mind at all. Do you get samples too? Because that would be AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't bother me. I say go for it! It's just when things start popping up that I get annoyed, ya know? How does it work? Does someone have to click on it for you to get money?
ReplyDeleteOh, (I know, I just posted lol) but I like coupons!!! Thanks! ;0)
ReplyDeleteit's no big deal... all the big ones have ads anyway...
ReplyDeleteWell you know I don't mind! :) Everyone has ads these days.

ReplyDeleteDon't mind but couldn't you find something sexier than Pine-sol? :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm just opening my blog to sponsorships too. Nothing wrong with trying, right?
ReplyDeleteYOU need to decide what matters most to you... removing the "big flashy ad" or exapnding your blog so you can make some moo-lah! if you want my opinion, i don't think that that Pine Sol is THAT coherent with the colors of your blog, but i don't think anyone will notice. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't bother me.
