photoframed.com {AWESOME} giveaway

Have you all heard of photoframed.com?  It is the best idea ever and I'm kind of wishing that I would have thought of it myself.  It's basically an online photo framing company.  So you upload your photo to their site, then you choose your frame, mat color and opening, size, etc.  You can even virtually add your wall color to see how it's going to look hanging in your home!

Photoframed offered me a gift certificate in order to try out their product and I gladly agreed (don't worry, keep reading and you may win your own gift certificate as well!).  Here is my tip.  Choose what photo you want to frame BEFORE you go to their site.  Otherwise you may get overwhelmed with all the options!  Once I chose my photo (the one of Camden on the train tracks--please don't call CPS), it was pretty easy to choose my frame and mat etc.  I suggest doing things in the order that the site suggests, like first upload your photo, THEN choose your frame and size, THEN your mats.  There is an option to keep your mat size equal all the way around which I neglected to find or use, but the awesome people at photoframed check each and every order before it goes out, and they made sure my mats were centered and equal.  There are two options when you get started...one is "design by myself" (which is what I did), the second is "design with template", which in hindsight may have been the better option. Shipping was surprisingly reasonable, I think mine was $8 and it arrived in 2 days, and it was packaged very well (see Charlie opening it above?) 

Here's the thing.  I was TOTALLY expecting the whole thing to be cheesy.  It is NOT at all.  I LOVE IT.  The quality is WAY better than what I was expecting...it is very very nice.  It is hard to tell from my photos, but the frame I chose is really neat.  It has sort of a metal texture to it, and looks and feels very professional.  You know I love me some Target, but this is not like anything you'd get at Target, it's way better.
