the show {off} winner from lucky week #13 is my dear friend, Jenny, from One Day at a Time.
I love this picture of her son, Luke. She totally nailed the shutter priority mode this week.
And yes, that widow's peak is totally real (that's what it's called, right?)
Congratulations, Jenny, help yourself to my awesome winner badge:
This week I'm just going to share a quick tip, because I have to leave in like two minutes to go get my haircut...and that quick little tip is to get down and dirty. Wait, let me back up. My primary photo subject is my baby toddler (!), omg he's a toddler! Anyway, it's Charlie, and he's little, and kind of close to the ground, so whenever I'm shooting him I get down (on the ground).
What tip can you share this week? Anything? Please link up the permalink to your post (not just your blog), or your flickr account and share something about how you set up or took the photo, or how you edited it. I really want to know, so please don't skip this part! Then add my button so others can play along! I can't wait to see what you come up with this week!
Im totally always on the groud with Dillon too! To get level or even below at times! But I love every minute cause I know someday I wont have to anymore cause he'll be grown! (BOO HOO!) Nice shot of Charlie!
ReplyDeleteYou picked a great winner. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of Charlie!
Love your photo and tip! I don't have to really get on the ground with Will yet, but with our dogs I always get on their level. My husband says that I will do anything and put my body in any position to get "the shot".
ReplyDeleteHa ha..Charlie looks so happy! So sweet! Yea, I love rollng around on the ground with Seraphina too-its really the only way to get the best candid shots!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful tip and one I use regularly. I once told my mom that I will never be that type of photographer that gets the perfect "family portrait." But, if anyone wants me to play with their kids, make farty noises for a laugh, or capture a candid smile, I'm your girl - it's all about knowing your subject and reaching them at their level!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such cheerful shots!
