and then she snapped: Drechsel Family Field Trip #2

Drechsel Family Field Trip #2

we took an impromptu trip to portland this weekend so that Chris and Camden could attend the Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show.  Grace and Charlie and I went shopping instead.  we stayed at a hotel in Tigard because downtown Portland was all filled up with crazy people wanting to run 26.2 miles in the rain (like my friend SuLee---YAY, SuLee!)

hotel room self-portrait

this is my handsome husband at our dinner at John Barleycorn's or something

we met some friends at OMSI the next day:

this is Samson, he is something like the most complete t-rex in the world (or it could be the most accurate?)  we weren't really listening.  but he looked cool.

this is Camden, doing the weather (and playing learning about green screens)

this is Charlie wondering what the heck Camden was doing

this is our family Christmas photo in infrared.  who knew my nose was SO cold!  I look like rudolph!

Grace, Charlie and me

Camden and Nora Jane playing learning about paddle boats

Charlie had had just about enough,
(but still representing the Sonics!)

Camden playing learning about pulleys and cranes and stuff

I wish you could meet Nora Jane, she is as sweet as she looks (and Camden is as much a spaz as he looks)
