and then she snapped: POTD 207/365

POTD 207/365

1 c butter
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c white flour
1 c whole wheat flour
1/2 t baking soda
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
2 c old fashioned oats
12 oz chocolate chips
1/2 c golden raisins
1 c dried cranberries

Bake at 350 for 12 minutes

I baked these today, for my friend, SuLee, because her mom is sick, and as a result my friend is spending countless hours at the hospital, not sleeping.  The cookies are delicious, and if you can spare a moment to say a prayer for SuLee, and for her mom, I know she would love you for it.

And if you have another moment and can spare another prayer, for my blogger friend, Allie...She lost her best friend today, in a biking accident.  My heart hurts for Allie, and I've never even met her in real life.  Please pray for peace in her heart.

  3. So sweet of you to make those cookies for your friend! Hope her Mom gets better soon.
And of course, Allie is in my prayers. It's always so tough to lose a loved one, every prayer helps!
