I LOVE SHOES, but I love a bargain more.

I am a self described bargain shopper extraordinaire.  But, I feel like I can't go on calling myself such a thing without some proof.  So here are a few examples of my latest finds.  Last week Grace and Samantha, Charlie and I hit Macy's on the morning of the Fourth of July.  Surprise!  Macy's was having a sale!  (that's a joke; Macy's is ALWAYS having a sale of some kind).  My first stop is ALWAYS the clearance shoes racks and this time they were 65% off original price.  For you non-math types, 65% is A LOT.  So I grabbed a few pairs:

Adorable deep pink converse for Grace:
Original Price: $50.00
Less 65%=$17.50
Less additional 20% off coupon=$14.00

Gold-ish soft-soled INC maryjanes:
Original Price: $59.00
Less 65%=$20.65
Less additional 20% off coupon=$16.52
These could possibly be considered kind of "old lady", but Grace approved them and she knows her "old lady fashions"

Red patent (RED PATENT!!!!) Jambu "pluto" wedge maryjane sandals:
Original Price=$100.00
Less 65%=$35.00
Less additional $10 off coupon=$25.00
Granted, I ALREADY owned these, in gold, and paid a helluva lot more than $25 bucks for them.  But these were RED PATENT and PRACTICALLY FREE.  And , not that it matters, but they were actually in MY SIZE and MY SIZE ONLY.  Plus, it was the Fourth of July.  And they were red.

On a roll, we headed over to handbags. 
(I always check shoes first, handbags second).
I totally didn't need a new handbag, since I had just bought one (that was originally $169 marked down to $40.22) just a few weeks prior.  BUT, I did need a camera bag, and I was feeling crafty.  So, I found the perfect bag, which was marked down to $42, and with a $10 off coupon it was practically free.  I then did a little magic, and now I have an awesome camera bag.
