Dear Charlie,
So, your first 100 days have been pretty awesome. ONE HUNDRED DAYS! You're pretty amazing, you know? And nobody is even bored with you yet. Grace (I've just been corrected, it was actually Daddy) wondered how it is that YOU don't get bored, since you don't really DO anything...but you totally do. For example, you laugh quite a lot now, and pretty much everytime you laugh you end up with the hiccups. Which is funny. Sorry, Dude, but it is. You are also sticking anything you possibly can into your mouth. Your current favorite seems to be your hands...you grab one of them with the other and then shove them both in your mouth, so proud of yourself! Camden says it's gross because then your hands are all slobbery, but geez, have you smelled Camden after teeball practice? That is gross. Anyway, when I get right in your face to give you a kiss your mouth opens up like you're going to try and stick ME in your mouth. Oh my gosh it is SO cute. I could play that game with you for hours. And sometimes we do play for hours (after we've cleaned all the toilets, put away all the laundry, and cooked meals for the week, of course). You're still not the best napper, but I'll let it slide, since you are pretty much perfect in every other way.
I took you in for your first "professional" photos last week when you turned three months old. We went to Yuen Lui, and you looked so handsome in your daddy shirt. The photographer tried really hard to get you to smile, but you were all, "Dude, you are NOT funny". But it was no problem, because you are still adorable even when you're not smiling. Auntie Clare said you look debonair. She's right.
You're pooping less. I should clarify, less frequently. Now it's like you save it up and then every couple days get it all out at once. It's at those times I find myself wondering why I ever thought it was a good idea to save a few bucks and buy the "babies r us" diapers. I hate those diapers. They leak EVERY time. Hey, maybe I should stop using them, huh?
One more thing. It's Mothers' Day this weekend...and as your mother I have one request, well ok maybe two...a really good night's sleep, and maybe a speedlight.
Love you bunches!
xoxo
Mom
