and then she snapped: Dear Charlie

Dear Charlie

Hi there!  It's me, Charlie.  My friend Story got to write her own update on her mom's blog so my mom said I could do one too.  I am three months old today.  THREE MONTHS!  Dude, these people in my house LOVE me.  I'm like the king of everything or something.  All I have to do is breathe loud and Grace totally picks me up.  Then she'll tell mom that I was crying.  Even when I so wasn't.  It's kinda funny.  My dad smells my feet, and that is hilarious.  If my feet really stink as bad as he says they do I honestly have no idea why he would keep sticking them near his nose.  He's weird I guess!  The 'medium one', Camden, is pretty cool...I can tell we're gonna be great friends.  I got to take a bath in the big bathtub with him this week, which was kinda fun, except I don't really know how to sit up by myself, so mom had to hold me by the armpits which actually kinda hurt.  I bet it will be more fun when I'm bigger.  Which, by the way, probably won't be long.  I eat every chance I get.  That stuff is the shizzle.  I also poop a lot (at least my mom says I poop a lot...I just go when I need to go).  I usually wait until just after mom changes me to poop again.  My mom says that she is spending my college fund on diapers.  It's so funny.  At least it gives us something to do--change my pants I mean.  You'll be glad to hear that I've been sleeping in my own bed the past few weeks, at least at night.   If I do a really good sleep then when I wake up at 5 or 6 I get to sleep in the big bed for another hour or so.  I love the big bed.  It's so cozy in there, and it smells like my mom.  Other things my mom and I like to do are go shopping.  We go to Target a lot.  The ladies there all say "hi" to my mom when we go there.  They also ask her if I am HER baby...like they can't believe she just had a baby or something.  Then they usually drool all over me.  (Not like they literally drool on me, that would be so gross...but I mean they just can't get enough of me, saying I'm so cute and stuff).  Then I usually give them a big grin and watch them drool some more.

Love,
Charlie Pete

  2. Dear Charlie: I liked your blog. My mom and dad are pretty funny too - but I wish I had some brothers and sisters to hold me and take baths with. Oh, I like the big bed too! You are right about it being warm and smelling like mommy. Isn't that the best smell ever? Hope you right more before we meet in the summer.
