and then she snapped: Camden's birthday party

Camden wanted to celebrate his birthday this year "playing at a park with my friends--the park with the rock". His birthday is in April, so planning anything outdoors in the northwest at this time of year is a risk. It could be 60 degrees and sunny, or it could be 30 degrees and stormy. We were hoping for the former, and for no rain. And we lucked out! No rain! BUT it was bitterly cold with the wind. The kids tried eating their pizza as napkins and plates blew everywhere. Camden said, "I changed my mind, I think we should have my party INside somewhere". 100% agreed, so we packed everything up real quick and moved the party to our house. Of course, the sun came out, and the kids still played outside, but at least the whimpy adults could stay warm inside. : )
