You are six weeks old today! Can you believe it? Oh my goodness you are damn cute too. You have been practicing your smiles, and for some reason your favorite place to do such a thing is on your diaper changer, when you're getting your pants changed. It's like you find it funny that you just go in your pants and we have to clean it up (like 10 times a day too!). At your checkup last week you weighed in at 10lbs 3oz. You had gained TWO POUNDS in just three weeks. Apparently all those late night feedings are kicking in. Dad says you sound like a pig at a trough when you are eating in the middle of the night. Well, during the day too, but I think he notices it more at night when it's quiet (other than your slurps, grunts and squeaks) and he's trying to sleep. You are sleeping ok though, so I can't complain. You wake up once a night usually, after you have slept 4-6 hours! I still can't believe how lucky we are to have you in our family, Charlie. I can't get enough of your happy face, and your beautiful bright eyes! You are too much fun! And I know it's only going to get better.
