O Christmas Tree!

I am one of those people who as soon as the Thanksgiving dishes are put away starts fidgeting until the Christmas tree is up. So Friday morning we got up and headed to the tree farm (ok, not really a farm, I'm also one of those people who doesn't like mud, or hiking, or...). We went to Harbor Greens out in Gig Harbor (which feels just like Tacoma Boys, but apparently is separate ownership). Anyway, we picked out a beautiful noble and the helpful young men at Harbor Greens loaded it on top of the car while Camden lounged on the hood of the car. (don't ask).

Chris and I have a longstanding disagreement about whether or not the tree trunk really needs to be re-trimmed immediately before being placed in the stand. I said that if he didn't want to cut it now, then when it stopped drinking water he could trim it later, but that it would probably be more difficult after it's decorated. So, he and Camden gave the trunk a fresh cut and we decorated the tree. I think it looks beautiful! What do you think? (You can click on the pictures to view them larger).
