Thanksgiving

I am thankful for a wonderful Thanksgiving day with my family! We had friends stop by in the morning, but the rest of the day was just Chris and I and the kids, and honestly, it was delightful! We tried a new brine recipe for the turkey (Alsatian-Brined Turkey), and I also tried a new recipe for White Trash Corn Casserole. Both were true winners. The kids set the new dining table with pine cone turkeys for decoration, and we spent the whole day together! At dinner we talked about what we are thankful for, and Camden was ironically the only one to say he was thankful for food...ironic because he ate two bites of turkey and was "done".
