I can't believe another week has gone by. Here we are, in OCTOBER. And as I type this Charlie has been crying in his bed for going on 30 minutes. What gives, dude? What's so bad about going to sleep? I'd love to do the same myself. But first I have to get this post ready, so I browse through the week's photos and frankly it's embarrassing. I have literally like 10 pictures I took this week and all I can find to show off is an ELEPHANT?? We went to the zoo the other day with my BFF since age 14 where we took summer tennis lessons through the parks department but really spent our time at the AM/PM across the street buying dollar hamburgers. Those were the days. Anyway, did I mention that she now has a BRAND SPANKING NEW BABY? And I neglected to take even ONE photo of him while we spent close to THREE hours together? I know, I have failed you all, and I have no excuse. So here I am showing off (ish) my (nothing to write home about) shot. I promise to try harder next week, k?
Won't you join me and show off your shot...it's easy!
Simply share any photo of your choosing this week. Link up (your blog
post or flickr photo), and visit some of the other show offs as well!
I do ask that you kindly link back to my blog using this button (although a text link is perfectly ok too):
Awww...I love elephants!
ReplyDeleteI don't get it.. I think sleeping is the most greatest thing in the world. Kids are strange. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice shot! Elephants are so cute!
I adore elephants & I am sorry to hear of the bedtime struggles. You know- lately my 14yo is staying up later then we are. He's been coming out to say goodnight & we are already conked out in our chairs- at like 9- I'm pretty sure we were struggling to stay awake long before that too. Granted he doesn't emerge in the morning until like 8:30- so he's getting way more sleep than we are- but still. Sleep is so under-rated by kids.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice shot of the elephant.

ReplyDeleteDon't be so hard on yourself. It isn't easy being a mommy♥ I love your elephant shot.

I visited some elephants at the zoo this week too =D I haven't had a chance to even look if any of those photos came out though, lol.
ReplyDeleteHope your little one finally went to sleep, my kids aren't fans of bedtime either :/
Kids are stupid. But you knew that. Who doesn't want to sleep?
ReplyDeleteWhat friend who had a baby? I missed something. Probably because I'm held hostage at my house until this remodel is done which should be TONIGHT, (or FREAKIN' else!).
Longest comment I've ever left. Mark it down.
