cake mix halloween funfetti cookies

You know those super delicious frosted cookies that you can pretty much only get from the bakery? The ones that are usually frosted with pink frosting? Well these taste exactly like those. Only they don't cost $2 each.

I bought one box of Pillsbury Halloween Funfetti Cake Mix and one tub of the Halloween Funfetti frosting. (I'm sure you could use any cake mix and any frosting). Then instead of following directions to make the cake you add just 1/3 cup oil and 2 eggs to the cake mix. Stir, drop onto cookie sheet (I use my 2 T cookie scooper) then flatten gently to about 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are barely a light golden brown. Cool completely then frost and sprinkle! Try not to eat them all. The box said it would make 36 cookies. Um, it made 19. So they lie. Or I make big cookies.
