and then she snapped: wordless wednesday but with words

wordless wednesday but with words

Happy Wednesday! Charlie and I spent a little time visiting with my Grama yesterday. She is back at home after MONTHS in a nursing home after she fell and broke her femur (OUCH).

She's 92, and she'll be the first to tell you, that's OLD.

But she looks so much better and is so much happier now that she is back in her own house. She still isn't able to bear any weight on her leg, so she does have round the clock care at her home. Her caregivers have so far been amazing.

She was glad to see me, but I'm NOTHING compared to Charlie. Dang him for being so cute for her after being a total pill for me all morning. I told him if he let me take his picture with Grama he could have chocolate milk with lunch. I should have told Grama if she smiled for me I'd put some scotch in hers.

I don't really "get" Wordless Wednesday. So around here words are totally OK, and actually encouraged! So if you like words too and want to link up your "Wordless Wednesday, but with Words", please do. And if it's Thursday by the time you get around to it, well heck, that's OK too.

  11. What a precious moment! Treasure it and frame it forever. Allana was three when she met her Great Granny Taylor and still talks about it.

God bless your Grandma. May she stay healthy and live to see more years with your son.
