Who am I kidding? I'm pretty sure the secret is already out.
Anyway... "Snowmageddon" did not disappoint. We ended up with 6 1/2 inches of the powdery white stuff at our house, (which is obviously way too deep to mow). We literally didn't see Camden all day while he was outside with his besties building snowforts, throwing snowballs, and sledding down our street. (So apparently you can have fun without putting your life at risk driving on those treacherous roads). Schools are closed again tomorrow, so we'll be housebound one more day. I've had enough of it though, ready for the temps to rise a bit tomorrow so all this snow can melt away and I can get back to doing the things I do best. Like going to Target.

and with you capture
So that's where all our snow is!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe have a serious lack of snow going on... makes the snowmobilers/skiers very unhappy.
Being as I'm not either of those things.. I don't mind so much. ;)
Love this picture, Lady. And you know for sure that I am not a fun mom either. Just deal, kiddos.
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha my kids were like that with the rain. If it was sunny, they stayed cooped up in the house. A thunderstorm . And I had to send out. Search party.
ReplyDeleteBest picture! Totally gives the snow feel to ppl like me who live in a snowless place =)
ReplyDeleteLove this pic - we are in FL so never snowbound, but next month we head to Banff ... my youngest is going to die ... she has no idea what is in store for her that week!
ReplyDelete(and she is such a drama queen to start with!)
This cracked me up ;-) Can you believe there is not a Target in the state I reside?? It should be illegal. There is tons of snow though...usually.

This picture is super cute. Going to Target is one of the things I do best too. :) We've only had about 1/4 inch here. I got snow boots for Christmas and haven't really had a chance to use them. Hope you don't get the frigidness like we have. It's 11 below with a windchill of -29 right now. I don't want to leave the house.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture! I used to not be a fun mom either until my kids got a little older (like when the youngest was 4-5). Now there are some days when I am dragging THEM outside to play in the snow. And we don't need to go anywhere to sled/tube, since we have an excellent hill in our back yard. Hoping we get some snow today so we can play tomorrow! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the shot & I think I can easily fit into the "not fun" category for the same reason :) But that's what they have their dad for- FUN.
ReplyDeleteSo funny, and cute picture. We have yet to get any snow here in MD... happy about that right now!!
ReplyDeletehey - you made it to the edge of the garage...or opened the front door...or did something to get this great shot! We'd like a nice big snowstorm here, but I think we got all the snow last year!
ReplyDeleteAmen Sister! The other night we were headed to my in-laws {in the snow}, and my husband proceeds to TRY to swerve all over the road . . . "for fun". I about smacked him. And then I was told I was no fun. :/
ReplyDeleteCute pic! I'm jealous of your snow believe it or not! We've had 'traces' of it here but not enough to go play in. Though, like you, I am sick of it after a few days. I hope you get a Target fix soon!
ReplyDeleteNo snow for us this year, but yours looks fun! Love this shot, and the black and white edit!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic photo! :) I love the snow. Can't wait to get some this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! Uhmmm... pretty sure you are a very fun mom, look how happy your kiddos are! Love this in B&W.
ReplyDeleteI am proof that it's possible to not be a "fun" mom and still have your kids grow up to be happy (at least one of them, ahem).
ReplyDeleteLove that photo, Rachel.
I've been following you for a while and got here today from "You Capture"
:)
Loving that "i love you" hand!
ReplyDeleteSnowmaggedon was NUTS! We were without power for nearly a week - all while Mr. Daddy was trying to recover from surgery with a sick (throwing up without running water) kiddo in the house. SO glad it's over.
I hate that I missed the FUN part of it! I am glad you got a picture of the kids enjoying it!
