Dear Charlie,
Dude. You're up to 19 months old now. If that were YEARS you'd be able to drink in Canada.
No more binkie. I just kind of forgot to give it to you one night, then at nap the next day, then at bedtime that night, etc etc. You're ok with it (now).
You also finally figured out how to work a straw. Not sure what was so difficult about it, but for some reason, you had a hard time until one day, "ta-da!" and you got it! It may have had something to do with the new "Cars" straw cups we bought you.
You like cars (the vehicles, and the movie), you growl whenever you see them (I think you are trying to "vroom", but it comes out sounding more like a growl).
Your vocabulary has grown this month, as it expect it will from here on out. Now you say Dada, Mommeee, No, Please, No, Nanny, Mine, No, Hot, Hi, Bye, No, Dog, Meow, Moo, Vroom (sounds like grrrrrr), Tubby, No, More.
You like it when we sing to you, but prefer Christmas songs over anything else. When we stop singing you always say "more", unless it's dad singing, in which case when he starts singing you say "No!" To go along with the singing you have learned some sweet dance moves. You like to spread your legs into a wide stance and then point your fingers (see photo). This is pretty much exactly like your dad dances, so it makes sense. You also learned the choreography that goes along with I'm a Little Teapot (kind of). And Itsy Bitsy Spider. You're pretty awesome if you ask me.
Love Love Love you!
Love, Mom
