FYI: I'm a little bit obsessed with Christmas cards. My family puts up with me and my crazy ideas. Like last year, when I had the idea to jump. (I was seven months pregnant and could barely get two inches off the ground). But whatevs.
This is definitely my most favorite Christmas card of ours. Ever.
I got the idea for it months ago and it killed me having to wait all the way til Christmas-time to make it happen!
This is the front cover of our card:
And this is the inside photo of our card:
Just in case you didn't grow up listening to the Beatles like I did, I'd like to share with you the inspiration for the card...the front and back covers of the Beatles' Abbey Road album:
Now I'd like to share with you what I did...
First I asked my sister to take our photo and swore her to secrecy. This is sooc:
Next I cropped, cloned out the houses on either side, and did a slight levels adjustment:
I finished with additional levels adjustments, brightness adjustment, and who knows what other adjustments (I sort of lost track after I played with it for, oh...hours...). In the end I ran PW's seventies action. (My fave).
Rachel! This is adorable!!!! You are so creative...great card :)
